    Hi! I've been reading the comments for the past 15 minutes looking for the explanation of why the bag stays in negative pressure when you disconnect the pump. When you replied in a comment " The bag stays connected to the running vacuum pump during the hole GLUEUP " - the " GLUEUP " means that both sides of the bag touches so there's no more air that could get through ? I'm not familiar with vaccuum sealing yet, I just got into the field to create reusable bags to hold large foldable items during camping (car cover, sleeping bag, etc...). So If my understanding is correct, that wouldn't work for my requirements, I'd need a one-way valve ? Thanks in advance for your time, it was a great video that really inspired me !

    Nice Job.. What size belt is that, and what grit do you find is best for a big belt like that, used in a wood shop?

      @bellevuesnekkeri 2 месяца назад

      Thanks. I found a belt that was 6" x 80" and built the machine to fit these. As it is mainly used for shaping and stock removal I use 80 grit, but occasionally 120

      @@bellevuesnekkeri Thanks. Close to what I was thinking. 60 and 120.. 80 and 89" belts are similar in price and seem to be able to find them ok.. Sounds great.. I looked at a bunch of Oscillating edge sanders and none of them move very much. More important to be able to move the table up and down. Save one part of the belt when you need coarse removal and one worn down more for finer sanding. In my welding shop, my 2x72" belt grinder is one of my more used tools. I'm sure this will be the same.. Why cut to a line, when it is that easy to creep up on it.. Nice build. Nice Video.. Thank you!!

    You obviously know your stuff (look at your workshop) but this is ridiculous: you have thousands of dollars' worth of kit and you are making your own adaptor instead of spending a couple of hundred bucks to buy one? Or seen from the other side, do you expect people who can't afford to buy a guide rail to have the machinery that uou have in order to make themselves one? Sorry to be negative, but I am usually after sensible realistic advice on youtube, not workshop porn. None of those people who salivate over your smooth production process are ever going to make that guide for themselves.

    • @bellevuesnekkeri
      @bellevuesnekkeri 2 месяца назад

      First of all. I made this because I cannot buy track saw adaptors for any circular saw where I live. And even if I could, what is wrong with using the tools I already have to make other tools. I hope lots of more people build this, and it can be built using only a table saw and a jigsaw only.....and btw I have got a lot of feedback and images from people building this one, and getting enjoyment out of it. both the build process and the product.....and isn´t that what woodworking is all about.....enjoyment? Have a great day

    I started watching your channel since the power feeder project and am always impressed! I have been thinking about doing a similar automation project and was interested in the drive belt you chose. I have found a lot of opinions and only one definitive comparison (Pfeifer industries) that states AT style belts have the best accuracy. Could you share what belt you chose? Is the accuracy of your fence solely based on the belt drive mechanism or does you UCCNC software provide backlash compensation? Thanks! Always looking forward to your projects.

    • @bellevuesnekkeri
      @bellevuesnekkeri 5 месяцев назад

      Hello, and thanks for watching and tagging along. The information you have are correct. As far as I know the AT belts are considered the most accurate. The belts on my fence are AT-10 meaning it has 10mm tooth spacing. They are the original on the Rexroth linear motion unit that you see. I just placed the linear rails on top or more stiffness. I use Mach3 as the core, with the custom screenset, and have no backlash compensation, as it is not necessary.
